Let's face it, most people are bad at telling stories and screw up the games. Even if you practice until you can tell a few right, she'll be expecting plenty more from you in the future and when you don't deliver will be dissapointed. If you're great at stories go for it. I've just found that it works alot better when I get them to tell me their stories. Then they are working for me. My DVH is that I'm a good listener, which is what they love. I just try to steer things towards emotions and sex without ever mentioning sex explicitly. I let the my kino do most of the talking.

Firstly, while you're building attraction, it's best for you to be talking the majority of the time... This way you can imbed DHVs, generate interest in them, and ultimately hook the set... The fact of the matter is, you need to tell some storys, or gambits to hold their interest, wether they are canned or not.

Also, it's a large generalisation to say most people are bad at telling stories... If you're bad at telling stories, it means you're probably bad at communicating in general, which won't get you anywhere in picking up women.

The more stories you tell, the better you get... To think that you’re so horrible in telling stories that you should just shut up, is a negative attitude that will limit you in many aspects of life. If you want to get super in telling stories (or anything else), off course you can learn that skill! It’s about the willingness to absorb knowledge and use it.

I'm not superb at telling stories and I have to agree with tompte on some levels. But I like games as they can be good to build kino or just disqualify a girl when you make her look like a fool.

Story telling is just a skill you have to build, like anything else. But personally I don't memorise things like the 100% perfect girl story. In conversation however I often find myself telling very short anecdotes that convey a little bit of my personallity, but I don't like to go into huge stories. But do whatever works for you.
