I usually throw this in the conversation whenever she mentions she's got a gay friend (every girl seem to have at least one!).
I say that unfortunately for her (cocky) I'm gay too and I would really like to meet her gay friend if he's single.
If you play this with the right tone of voice (seriously but with a smart smirk on your face), this will amuse her and at the same time baffle her - she will know you're joking but she won't be 100% sure.
She will be intrigued to find out the truth about your sexual orientation, or more likely to find out why in the world a straight guy would say he's gay. Also she will feel subconsciously safer, reacting to the notion that gay guys don't hit on girls.
This is a great conversation booster as it can be directed in many different ways and all of them are sparkling:
1) Say you're a cross-dresser and one of these times you would like to try on her clothes. Say you always wanted to see how you look in a skirt, you've got great legs (cocky) and you guys should swap clothes one of these times and take pictures!
This gives the conversation a more intimate / erotic turn, especially if you start mentioning underwear.
2) Say the only thing that bugs you about kissing guys is that they have got annoying facial hair. Ask if she has the same problem with the guys she kisses and ask her if SHE has facial hair! (neg). Whatever is the answer ask her if you can check it (or just do it, if you feel you are comfortable enough with her already) and touch her face and the area around her lips, this creates some interesting kino. I've kiss-closed from here sometimes.
3) Say you never kissed a girl before and you would like to try what it feels like. Kiss-close.
All of this has been field-tested several times and it worked like a charm, it adds spark to the conversation and it brings it to a more sexual level. Great to start kino escalation and kiss-close.
