Being a new comer to the community I am still at the rookie level of understanding IODs and shit tests and how to respond to them. I just started out last week after being inspired by Mehow and wanted to try his method even though I am involved with someone right now.
I have been talking to this waitress at a restaurant I go to once a week and wanted to try Mehow's method on her. The first week I used the "paris hilton doggy carrier" bit and she almost floored. But I couldn't remember the rest of the lineup from the method and did not number close. But learned a lot about her and also that she goes to my gym.
Next time, I was a little more confident in my approach but still didn't go for the number-but did some kino plowing. Told her I will see her at the gym and when I did-did some kino and she asked me " i will see you at the restaurant tomorrow right?". So, by this point I thought it was lock.
Yesterday, I used the "three smiles" bit and "undercover waitress" bit which she was impressed by again. Finally, used road runner's "if only there was a way to talk to you" number close to which she said " that was very cute. i like that. we will see". then, finally before I left I opened another set and made sure she saw that and ended up getting the new set's number. Thought jealousy would do it but before I left I told her bye and said "i will call before i go to the gym tomorrow but wait " and she said "you may be a crazy psycho i am not giving you my number" I said "you caught me! how did you know?" she smiled and said "if i am an undercover agent, i will know your number already" i just laughed and left.
what am I supposed to think of this-is this just an IOD or has this one slipped away?
