Funny magic trick

This is my first post here, I hope you'll enjoy it.

I just came back from a comedy show, and there was this very funny comedian. At one point he said to the audience: I can work magic, does anyone have 2 euro (dollar)?
so one guy in the audience gave him 2 euro and the comedian just kept it and continued with his show.
i think it's a great magic trick to work in the field cause it's so damn funny.
you can ask 2 euro (or dollar whatever you want) to your target, keep it and just keep on working the set. when she keeps asking for her money you can neg her by saying to her friends: "my god, is she always like that?"
when she keeps asking, just ignore her and continue your game.
later when you've built enough comfort you can say: "so, can i buy you a drink?" or whatever you want.

there's also a variant: when you ask her for 2 euro, pull out a handfull of 2euros and add it to it.

i'm going to field test it this week and post my results.

Maybe in Belgium it works yet it any other country u will be bashed to death for 50p. I do it other way, I do some magic tricks and then I say i need a target to put a phone number on a piece of paper, it's need to be legimet and she need to write it down in a manner that will keep it away from my view or the trick won't work, then she fold it and heres the trick : ) i just pocket the number and walk away.

I think that leaving straight after a number-close is a bad idea. Doing what you do off course, makes you stand out from the crowd, and she might remember you. But the signal it also sends is, that the number was all that you wanted from her, now you got it, and now you left. Makes setting a 2-day up much harder!

I always hang around making smalltalk, or pumbing BT, for at least 1-2 minutes after a number-close.

Yes it is a good trick, but you have to be careful if you look to sirious she can think: What an asshole he just took my money!!!! you have to put some smile in this

Go to set and say that" Hey guys do you like magic?? i have got one for you i named it Teleport and surrander" now go to one girl and take her hand high and she must get up and if she get up you must spin her and sit in her place then you take her hand and put on your shoulder :)

If presented as a mind reading effect here are a few tips.

You have opened a set but have ignored, or only briefly met your target. I use The Psychic approach and after some priming will ask if they would like to see a demonstration. You will turn to the Target and ask her if she would mind helping. I take out a business card and ask her to write her telephone number onto the back of it and hold in face down on her palm. I then slide the card back into the business card case and pocket it. " Now look in my eyes... Look deep into my eyes..."

...what you will do now is ask for her name if you can in someway shorten the name you will state e.g."Thankyou Sally, may i call you Sal ?" short for Sally. She will say "Yeah sure" You will then say "O.K. Is Thursday good for you?"

It will also work with just the name repeated back.

I will then go on to reveal the last 6 digits of her number. "We have never met before tonight have we Sally?" ..."No"... "would it amaze you NOW Sally if i were to reveal to you the Last 6 Digit of your..."

I have done this effect numerous times and it is *GOLD* I will then do another effect and after approach the target.

I'm not sure if i explained it right but if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. There are alot of subtleties i have not explained in the effect but try it out...
